WORD OF F!CKING WARNING: some events and or facts in this story may be jumbled/sort of true/never actually happened. It so happens that I've only played
Assassins Creed Revelations while learning about the others through reading books on them and looking them up on Wikipedia. And it just so happens that I have a
poor memory. So...if something seems wrong, well, my friend, DEAL WITH IT. PLEASE. also, i don't own anything in this. AC owned by Ubisoft, Red Vs Blue owned
by...Bungie?? I think...well, it ain't owned by me :D

Enjoy!

Oh, I just remembered: Red Vs Blue's owned by Rooster Teeth.
...
and where there is science, there is stupidity. from me...
Enjoy!!!

Chapter 2: Hidden Problems

Rebecca was at her favorite part of Agent Tex beating the snot out of Grif when the power went out.

"Aaaw, c'mon!" she complained.
Lucy came stumbling through the doorway, trying to find her way around in the dark. "Must be rats in the fuse box." She grumbled.
"I'll go check it out." Shaun volunteered suddenly, jumping up in the next second.
"No, you stay here and check on Desmond." Lucy ordered. "I'll go check it out."
Before Shaun could protest, Lucy was already stumbling back out of the room.
Rebecca shot a suspicious glance in Shaun's general direction. "Why the sudden generousity?"
"Is it so wrong for a man to want to do a man's job?" Shaun asked.
"It is if you're not a man." Rebecca replied slyly.
Shaun scowled, about to spew out a few insults to retaliate, but both he and Rebecca jumped as Lucy's scream rang through the halls.
"Lucy?!" Rebecca shouted back worriedly.
"Are you okay!" Shaun shouted along.
"SHAUN HASTINGS!!" A raging voice shouted back. Shortly after, Lucy came stomping into the room with something in her hands.
Shaun recognized it right away. "Um..." He said shyly, then trying to divert the subject, "Yes, that's me. Lucy Stillman, aren't you?"
"I knew it was you!" Lucy growled. She held up the objects in her hands that were now dripping with a slimy, thick substance. "Hiding MY yogurt FROM ME is bad
enough, but hiding them in the FUSEBOX?!?"
"How could it have been me?" He defended. "I don't even know where the fusebox is!"
"Because you're not a man." Rebecca added mater-of-factly.
"Would you PLEASE stop saying that-!" Shaun said, only to be cut off by moaning from across the room.
The trio stumbled and tripped their way across to the Animus 2.0 and Desmond.
"So um..." Shaun started out saying, "when do you think the power with come back on?"
Rebecca couldn't help but notice that Shaun kept setting himself up for her insults, "When you become a man and fix the fusebox. Once you find out where it is,
of course."
Shaun took a swing at when he had heard Rebecca's voice and came into contact with her arm.
"OW! Shaun, I'm going to freakin' KILL YOU!" Or at least he thought it was Rebecca's arm.
Rebecca could see where she was going by the light of her battery-power computer.
She pulled out a flashlight from underneath her computer desk and flicked it onto Desmond's face. His features were rested, but distressed as well. He kept twisting
his head from left and right, grumbling in his sleep.
Lucy leaned over and gave a solid shake to Desmond's shoulders. He didn't move. She tried poking his face with a determined finger, but he didn't even twitch.
"What's going on? Why isn't he waking up?" Lucy asked, concerned.
"Well," Rebecca began, "From my guess, the power outage must've screwed something up in Baby."
"Nah, you think?" Shaun retorted.
"What I mean is," Rebecca continued, "is that, obviously, he must've been in the middle of doing a mission when the power went out. What doesn't make sense is why he's
still...in it, you know? He should've woken up by now if the power's out. Unless..."
"Unless what?"
Unless there's some outside source connected to it that's still feeding it power, she thought. But the computer alone shouldn't be strong enough to coninue on powering
the Animus with Desmond inside. Something had to be feeding from the laptop to the Animus to keep it going. But what could possibly...?
"Unless what? Hello, anybody in there?" Shaun asked impatiently, tapping Rebecca's head with a knuckle.
She shrank away from his hand, grimacing, "Don't touch me."
"Unless what, Rebecca?" Lucy soothed, trying to get to the problem at hand.
Rebecca swallowed slowly, "Well, um...guys, don't be mad at me but..." She wasn't anymore relaxed when she saw the looks on their faces. "...but, I, may have something
to do with this."
Lucy and Shaun waited.
Rebecca sighed, "I was watching Red Vs Blue while Desmond was in the Animus and when the power went out. Now I know that that doesn't sound like a big deal, but
it might be the reason why he isn't waking up."
"That Rooster Teeth nonsense?" Shaun asked. "Are you saying that he's, like, watching that crap through the Animus?"
"Well that's the thing." Rebecca said, "The Animus isn't for simply viewing things. It's for living through them."
All was silent except for Desmond's panicky breaths.
"So...are you saying that..." Lucy started, "Desmond is currently running around in a land of multi-colored soldiers and aliens as Ezio?"
"Or it could be the other way around!" Rebecca added, "The multi-colored spartans and aliens could be currently running around in Renaissance Italy with Ezio.."
"Oh, well that makes things alot better." Shaun grumbled. "Do we at least get the pleasure to watch Desmond's nightmare?"
"The power's out." Rebecca said. "The laptop may be feeding things into the Animus, but we're not getting anything back from my Baby. In other words, we can't
monitor his progress or fix this problem until the power's back on."
"I'm thinking that you don't have to be a man to clean out a fusebox of yogurt." Lucy said. Then she turned to Shaun. "You. Go clean the fusebox."
"What?!" But Lucy disappeared into the shadows to run her own errands. Shaun frowned at Rebecca. "Well, can I at least use the flashlight?"
"I'm coming with you." Rebecca said. "No way I'm missing out on you squealing about yogurt getting onto your shoes. You little girl."
"Gah!" Shaun growled, and he stomped off to the fusebox with Rebecca on his tail.
