Short Stop (Hammond)

So as a dweeb, I am entitled to do dweebish things, like design transformers for the Top Gear/Grand Tour presenters.

<she's probably going to copy and paste that explanation to the other two.)

I chose a motorcycle for Short Stop, or Richard Hammond's transformer. As we all know, two-wheeler transformers have naturally smaller frames, which is true to Hammond's own stature in comparison with the other two presenters. It doesn't hurt that he also seems to like motorcycles. More specifically, it's a stunt-bike to correlate with his childhood fascination with Evel Knieval and also because he's a little accident prone himself.

The facial design was a little tricky for me in the beginning, as I wanted to emulate his early Top Gear clean-shaven appearance without completely ignoring his current bearded look. If you look closely, you may notice that the battle-mask gives the appearance of a beard. sort of. 

I gave him revolver-like blasters and "boots" to display his admiration of all-things-american, but kept the red white and blue color pattern ambiguous to represent either side of the pond. 

his design takes after arcee from tfp and a bit of bumblebee from animated.

i'm making all this sound so formal, not sure why. oh well. the other two will be up shortly! pun not intended...
